Another Successful Genz4jesus Night for the Books
These kinds of adventures mean so much to me. Every time I step into a space like this, it feels like more than just a trip—more than just an event. It feels like I’m traveling with purpose, as if each journey becomes a personal appointment with God. Whether I’m working, resting, or somewhere in between, I always seem to encounter Him in unexpected places.
It might be in the people I meet, the moments of worship that take my breath away, or even the unplanned, spontaneous conversations that happen when no one’s looking. He’s in it all. Nights like these remind me of how faithful He is to meet us where we are and show up in ways that are unique to each of us.
Serving Alongside Creatives
One of the things that continues to amaze me is the opportunity to serve alongside creatives from so many different walks of life. It’s not something I take for granted. To me, it still feels surreal to be part of a team that’s creating moments of worship, connection, and impact—not just for ourselves, but for others. These nights aren’t just “events”; they’re opportunities to become creative witnesses to what God is doing in this generation.
I’m still learning what it means to be present in spaces like this, and I’m hoping to make a habit of being around these kinds of people—individuals who carry the vision, who are humble in their craft, and who are unafraid to let God work through them.
Meeting Lou Engle
This night was also a special one for me because it was my first time meeting Lou Engle. After hearing about his reputation as a revivalist for years, finally encountering him in person felt surreal. Lou carries such a presence—his passion for revival and prayer is contagious, and being in the same room as someone who has impacted so many lives felt like a true “God moment.”
That moment of meeting Lou will always stay with me. It felt like a defining milestone in my journey, a reminder of how God places you in the right spaces at the right times. And what’s even more incredible is what happened afterward—this night became a turning point for me. From here, many doors began to open, including the opportunity to photograph a historic event: a gathering of a million women in Washington, D.C.
Full Circle Moments
Looking back, I’m reminded of how this all started. Mauricio introduced me to Andy, Manny, and Dave at my first Gen Z for Jesus event in Texas, and I had no idea how much that moment would set things in motion. Since then, I’ve been invited into something so much bigger than myself—a community, a movement, and a family of creatives who are all running after the same thing: Jesus.
It’s incredible how God weaves things together. What felt like a simple introduction has now turned into opportunities to not just witness what He’s doing, but to play a small part in it. These nights feel like a glimpse of heaven on earth—people worshiping, creating, and collaborating with one goal in mind: to make His name known.
Finding God in the Ordinary
As I reflect on these experiences, I’m struck by how often God meets us in the seemingly ordinary moments. Yes, there are the big moments of worship and the powerful prayers, but He’s also present in the quiet conversations, the laughter shared during setup and even the simple act of showing up.
Every adventure—whether for work, rest, or worship—becomes an invitation to find Him. And at the end of the day, that’s what I take away most from nights like these. It’s not just about the event itself; it’s about the encounters, the people, and the ways God reveals Himself when we’re simply willing to show up and say, “Here I am.”
From meeting Lou Engle for the first time to serving alongside some of the most talented and humble creatives I know, this Genz4Jesus night will always hold a special place in my heart. It wasn’t just another event—it was a moment of encounter, an opportunity to see God’s hand at work, and a turning point in my creative and spiritual journey.
Here’s to more nights like this, more adventures, and more opportunities to witness what He’s doing in and through this generation.
